At Pawuamba, we carefully select every material we work with aiming to generate the least possible environmental impact.

We work with natural and regenerated materials such as cotton thread, linen, cactus leather, and the soles of the sandals, which are made from regenerated rubber. Our processes are entirely artisanal, and we collaborate with foundations and institutions that promote fair trade and support the dignification of artisanal processes.

We strive to minimize waste material in the production of sandals and stationery; when waste is generated, we transform it into new complementary pieces that contribute to our sororal economy project while also doing our part in reducing textile waste.
