We pay tribute to an ancestral treasure: the Melipona Beecheii bee, a sacred, stingless bee revered by our ancestors for its golden honey with healing and mystical properties. More than an insect, it was seen as a bridge between the earthly and divine; a gift from nature connecting both worlds. 

Today, this Mayan treasure is endangered. Through the art of the handmade, we raise our voice to invite awareness of the importance of protecting nature’s gifts. 

Each pair in this line carries a delicate freehand embroidery on linen by artisans from Zinacantán, using the fill and loose thread technique requiring over four hours of dedication per pair. We reaffirm that the best things come with the patience and love that only handcrafted work can offer.
